That wasn't ****** for Marquez because A)It would be Career high pay day against the best fighter on earth who isn't a pressure fighting knockout artist. Floyd and Rigo outclass you GGG and Lucas punish you. I wouldn't want either one, but I rather be outclassed than punished and stopped.

Both TR and GB protect their 'investments' too much, and you could add Goosen into the mix as well. Look at Wilder. Inside sources told me yes in fact GB wanted him to get to at least 20-0 before any serious non-tomato cans. And the band plays on. And HBO and Showtime always fighting... 2 great cards in one night. Happens all the time. This sport could be so much better except for all the arguments in plush offices.

Gamboa is right.

For years after Juan Marquez lost to Norwood, JMM was kept away from Barrera and Morales because he was too much of a risk. Barrera finally fought him when he thought Marquez had lost something.

Barrera was never even with Top Rank at that time.
