For those who dislike catchweights

Thats what I said its because nobody cares about catchweights unless its Manny Pacquiao who does them than it becomes a big deal.

Nobody but Floyd fans cared about Mannys catchweights that was rival slander. Floyd was wrong for the catchweight slander he gave Manny then turn around and do it. Now catchweights are than than full blown AIDS on this board that's just funny to me but oh well I'm just happy they are fighting.

Nobody gained a notable in-ring advantage and Pete's IBF title wasn't on the line, so it was easier to just overlook the catch-weight. It was still dumb, but nobody was negatively affected.

Gatti coincidentally put on the same amount of weight Canelo did against Trout, 19 pounds, Gamache nearly died and suffered brain damage.

Luckily for Trout, he also rehydrated to LHW.

This is exactly what I was getting at. No matter who you are a fan of (since that seems to matter so much here) If you are a person who has problems with catch weights how do you not have a problem with these fighters coming in at more than 5-7 lbs over the weight limit.

To me what is the difference. If you are mad at a fighter for winning the 147 title at 145lbs how are you not also upset at a fighter winning that same 147 title weighing 153lbs on fight night.

I don't like either personally. I can accept catch weights only if titles aren't on the line. 5-7 pounds ain't an issue as well. It's putting on 10-19 pounds over night, that to me is ridiculous.

I can respect someone not liking both. To me that makes sense. You want fighters who fight at a particular weight division to actually come in at or very close to that weight limit.

Yeah I think 5-7 lbs is fine that type of weight fluctuation isn't bad. But more than that seems like a blatant exploit of the weigh-in being 24 hrs before. it is the 10-19 lbs stuff that I think it out of hand. Which is why I think there should be a re hydration cap.

floyd haters/manny fans/klit lovers/canelo fans are jumping up and down calling floyd and any fans that criticized CW's a hypoctite or flip flopper as they should. they are going so hard to deflect from the fact they are changing their position regarding 2lbs being a big deal (manny v cotto) and that CW's didn't give an advanatge.

So there is essentially a big pool of murky, mucky scum that each group of hypocrites is desperately trying to be the first to escape.

There is a rehydration cap(WBC 10%) but it's not enforced; but I think Floyd & his team will make sure it's enforced this fight

Yup, I never had a problem with catchweights because I always said if two men agree to fight its on them, nobody put a gun to their head to sign the contract. What people are laughing at is the hypocrisy of the flowmos and Floyd. He clearly feels fighting a guy at a catchweight for a 154 title is draining the guy, well than now since it came out of his mouth and all his fans mouth than people have the right to tell him you are draining Canelo because he said so himself that its draining a fighter to fight them at a catchweight below the limit The only way they can be taken serious is if they say yes we only hated catchweights to make Pacmans wins look bad, and to discredit him to big up Floyd, we really never had a problem we just needed somethign to hate on pacquiao with to make Floyd look better especially after fighting a shot Cotto Pacwuiao left over from years of saying Pac fought Floyds leftovers

On top of that, it would make for a more entertaining sport. Those who get hurt because they're trying to to use size as a way to accommodate their lack of skills, I say fuck 'em, health is their priority not an organizations' when it pertains to weight.
