Gonna say it again, any fighter who gets severely hurt trying to fight below his natural weight class, the fault lies with him. It's that tunnel vision of yours that's clouding your judgement, all you see is Floyd right now.

thats what you guys do. I can't speak for every floyd fan but pointing out the 145 and 151 cw title wins was and will always be an effective tool to remind manny's fringe tea party level fans that he isn't what you guys make him out to be.

You are very concerned with how floyd fans now view catchweights. Are you at all concerned about how you and other manny fans view the advatage of CW's for the larger draw? Are you still saying 2lbs makes no difference?

People won't complain until someone gets hurt really badly. Look what happened to Gamache in the Gatti fight, there were talks, but the commissions are just too lazy to enforce anything

Lets try again, guy. Day before weight ins were implemented because of the concern for fighter safety. People are bashing Floyd cause he's a liar, hypocrit and a fraud.
If a fighter wanted a title at 135 he didn't kill himself to make weight he simply showed up at 135 ready to fight. He was a true 135lb champion not a dehydrated Jr. Middleweight fighting smaller men. Now, It goes both ways when you talk about health risks, look how Segura was damaging his body trying to make 108lbs. How bad Rios' complexion looked like trying to make 135.

Were a problem then in your opinion; me I wish the fight was @154 personally before 5-30-13 nobody was up in arms about catchweights hells everybody fav fight Lucas just had a 141 catchweight no complaints.

Gatti coincidentally put on the same amount of weight Canelo did against Trout, 19 pounds, Gamache nearly died and suffered brain damage.

Thats what I said its because nobody cares about catchweights unless its Manny Pacquiao who does them than it becomes a big deal.

thats why nobody card that Lucas and peterson fought at one or P will.

This is exactly what I was getting at. No matter who you are a fan of (since that seems to matter so much here) If you are a person who has problems with catch weights how do you not have a problem with these fighters coming in at more than 5-7 lbs over the weight limit.

To me what is the difference. If you are mad at a fighter for winning the 147 title at 145lbs how are you not also upset at a fighter winning that same 147 title weighing 153lbs on fight night.
