Ortiz got spanked by Maidana, drew with Peterson and got knocked down twice against Berto in his only fight at WW. He beat Berto because Berto can't stop a beach ball!!! Meaning no defense!
Guerrero was relatively new too and now for some reason everyone thought that doing the same formula is going to work this time? Add that Guerrero looks slow at WW.

I never said that Floyd was scared of this version of Canelo. I said, if Floyd will fight Canelo, it will be sooner NOT later. Unless Canelo doesn't improve THEN it wouldn't matter. Remember that Floyd wanted Canelo as green as possible. Canelo said Floyd wanted Canelo 2 years ago! If Canelo fixed his issues and gained more experience by fighting the right fighters, then YES Floyd would avoid him or try to remove his advantage BEFORE the fight starts.

Well, Floyd is now fighting a Canelo that needed more time yet Floyd still wanted to make sure that the odds were on his side so he told Canelo to come down to 152. Why? Go check your old posts about Manny to answer that or check out Floyd's interview on that subject or Ellerbe's interview.
Floyd never said he wanted Canelo two years ago. He said emphatically that he was too green, and it would be a waste of time cuz nobody, AGAIN, would give him his props.

And you seem to think I'm still under the impression that Ortiz and Guerrero did something great to get the fight with Floyd. You are completely missing the point. I asked who should Floyd have fought, instead? You did a great job of forfeiting by default, by saying he should've retired......lmao that's a cop-out 100%. Why should he retire and pass up on hundreds of millions of dollars because nobody out there is on his level? Is he restricting everybody, so they don't get good?

everyone is saying that canelo will lose b/c mayweather cheated him out of 2 lbs. Are you guys ******? Canelo will weigh in close to 170 lbs while mayweather will be his usual self 151 max being outweighed by at least 19 lbs and you guys have the nerve to say if mayweather wins it's cause canelo came down. Some of you guys are *******s! What if mayweather loses, can we say b/c he fought a super middleweight who should probablt being fighting in the light heavy weight division. You guys are *******s and just kill the sport with your dumb biases b/c you hate to black man maximize his profits

Did this guy just say zab gave floyd a "boxing lesson". Haha..that's comical. If you actually believe anything you stated in that last line, you can't possibly know anything about the sport of boxing. A boxing lesson from judah..lmao.

So a 2lb differential is going to be canelo's downfall?? We arent talking about a seasoned...veteran fighter who's past his prime. Alvarez is what...22 years of age...He's just a young dude not even in his physical prime yet as an athlete. If a 22 yr old professional athlete has to struggle to go down 2 lbs then he is clearly out of his league before the bell even sounds. If his training, dietary habits and metabolism wont allow him to still remain in peak condition at 152 then he's in for a long night come Sept 14.

Many of them have centered on whether Alvarez is ready for someone like Mayweather, the pound-for-pound king.

Mayweather-Alvarez will be co-promoted by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather Promotions. Golden Boy matchmaker Eric Gomez on Friday talked about Alvarez's mission to become that complete fighter, not just one who can knock out someone. With 30 knockouts among his 42 victories, he is quite capable of that.

                nice!!!

but on the real, Nelo hasn't fought a ninja like Floyd either...NEVER!!!...so I guess they'll be playing chess for a minute and when Nelo finds out that its high speed chess and he's the slower cat, he'll turn Mexican...he is who he is

Whether it's improved defense or non-existent defense... Canelo's defense is hardly going to be a factor against Floyd.
