Your point about Floyd deserving more respect is accurate because Canelo has not done much .... but things have changed now that he fought Trout and now will be fighting Floyd. When has Floyd ever fought that kind of competition? Never ... but again. I agree with that point.

What I disagree with you is that you downplay Canelo and say "who has he fought?" but don't say the same about Berto. You say that Berto was ranked high but Canelo has 2 titles at 154. Again, I agree that Canelo has a very suspect record up until now but Berto's is worse.

So going by what I said, Ortiz and Guerrero only beat Berto. So why did you legitimize that more than Canelo?

All 3 fighters had to show more if you go by my standards but I can see why they would take the fight.

Floyd had fought better fighters than trout by the time he was 23. Through out a his career a whole slew of fighters FAR better than trout. Your post is almost as bad as his is....and that's saying something. Trout had done nothing but beat Cotto. Canelo has done nothing but beat Trout. You discredit Guerrero and Ortiz but somehow Trout was better? That's the caliber of fighter Trout is.

Hell yea! I just gained much respect for Matthysse for making that statement. I like garcia but I'll be rooting for Matthysse when they fight only because Matthysse shows he backs the latinos. Garcia's sorry ass picked trout to beat Canelo and he slobs on floyd's knob every chance he gets in interviews. Garcia is a disgrace to puerto ricans and latinos.
