Congratulations for just setting yourself for massive counters to that head of your Canelo.
I see a Gatti repeat on this one, Canelo aint **** and his ass is getting busted from round one. No time for feeling out here, in fact fight won't go the distance.
Shock and awe, someone predicts Mayweather will Gatti his opponent.

Who cares if he hasn't done that since Gatti, he's going to this time, I feel it!

I know Canelo is going to come well prepared, and I think he has been saying all the right things (unlike Guerrero who was dismissive of Floyd from the start). I have my doubts that he can put his words into action, but we'll see.

        Cool plan.

What happens when Mayweather starts throwing those sneaky right hands to the body?

If he goes to Floyd's body he will end up conceding the early rounds, as Floyd will land crisp punches to the head that are easy to score. He'd have to rely on dominating him in the final six, which I don't think will happen. If he succeeds with his body work and Floyd no longer has the same mobility, he is still dealing with a fighter who is adept at fighting stationary. Floyd would actually have an easier time with Canelo in the later rounds as he adapts to his opponents style. Also Canelo's fitness is insufficient, I don't think he is active enough to sustain the assault on the body needed to break Floyd down, but even if he did he would be unable to finish the job in the final 6.

I've thought for quite some time now that Canelo has had the right attitude and fight plans. His improvement in defense last fight vs Trout was amazing. Yeah, I know, Trout isn't Floydie... so what? I'm talking about a fighter who improves a lot with each fight lately, and one who is still young, who is fast, tough, strong, patient, relentless. He just needs to improve his stamina at this point. Whether he wins or not isn't as important to me as the challenge he puts forth. And Floydie will definitely know he's been in a fight when it's over, win or lose. Canelo is one of the best opponents Floydie has faced so far.

Personally, I thought Canelo regressed a little against Trout. He was throwing one punch at a time and was ****ing before he threw the punch. I thought he looked better against Shane.

won't work.if alvared throws a double jab.he can't follow up anything after it.then gets met by a straight right.

If you thught the De La Hoya/Floyd fight was close, then you don't need to watch boxing lmao, Oscar won 4 rounds at best and landed 18% of his punches. Close fight my ass.
