Lenard who everyone loves fought hagler at a catch weight, manny fought marg catch weight and had a re-hydration clause with him and cotto and dlh, I can go on and they are warriors. Floyd fight nelo no hydration clause 2 pounds less he a biotch and a coward. When he is gone I bet money this site will not be the same.

      There's options out there aswell.

The two obvious ones are Matthysee-Garcia and Alexander-Khan winners. If Garica-Matthysee fight in September then I'd imagine that fight will be aimed at for early next year perhaps February I'm not sure.

Meaning the Khan-Alexander winner in December can be aimed at for a September 2014 date.

That's if he beats Canelo convincingly. If the fights close then all these options are on hold, the rematch will be set.

Yes Gatti the all action hero everyone was saying Mayweather didn't want to fight. Baldomir, had just come off a significant win against Judah. De la Hoya was probably past his prime but at the time was 34 years old. 2 years younger than Mayweather is today. Mosely just finished destroying Margorito. Not Mayweather's fault he couldn't sustain his resurgence in their fight. Marquez is still knocking out people. You might have heard of the last person he KO'd. Cotto is younger than Mayweather. You act as if Mayweather is stuck in a time machine while everyone else is getting older. Last thing Junior Gong, you can't really be from Jamaica can you?

Since so many people think Trout beat Canelo he could fight Trout.

I think those are the 2 fights next year: Garcia/Matthysse and Khan/Alexander.

Or maybe Khan/Alexander will fight Lucas/Garcia and Floyd will rematch Canelo in May if the first fight is close.

Then in 2015, who knows what the landscape will look like. But I'm sure somebody will go on a hot streak from now until then.

Miles on clock >> age and ffs, didnt you see the state Marquez was in when he fought floyd? He had never been near the weight and didnt look right at all. Oscar had was finished when he fought floyd and still had enough to come away with a split(I thought FMJ won before you start crying), Cotto had had the stuffing beaten out of him by brickhands and manny, Mosley...again lol, and as for Gatti and Baldomir, if you couldnt tell they were mismatches beforehand then I really dont know what to tell you.

........And out of interest, why can I not be from Jamaica?

The timing of this fight sure seems curious. I was certain he was save Canelo for the final fight and let the hype around the fight build. He's fighting the biggest money fight he can with a couple fights left to go. Seems weird to me. He should have let Canelo's name build a bit so casuals know who he is. I tried to explain how big this fight was to some people yesterday and they had no idea who Canelo was. Where does Floyd go after this that isn't a huge let down?
