It's not Rigo's fault Donaire had them problems before the fight, they did what they did that night.
I don't think a 'better minded' Donaire would do too much better, there just seemed an element of 'uselessness' about Donaire when trying to get to Rigondeaux, call it purely just 'skill-wise' Rigondeaux seemed steps ahead of Donaire.
Saying that i'd watch a 2nd fight, at these guys level shocking things can happen so who knows, i think Donaire is an awesome fighter but perhaps Rigo is ultimately just too ring savvy imo, simply think he'd collect another W and handsome paycheck and Donaire would just have more hard miles on the clock afterward. Putting myself off a rematch now come to think, wups...

If Agapito Sanchez (rip) although a bit dirty in their fight, was able to give Manny hell, Rigo would obliterate Pac.
      Aye

Donaire can move up and do pretty well financially but Rigo needs Donaire so he can earn! Rigo can't go to far up because he IS a lil guy and they never earn what their skills are worth when they have better than average talents!!
I do believe Rigo will fight up to his opponents talents, the long career amatuer guys have a tendency to do that, not sure why but I've been around to see it! If Donaire can't get to 122 without depleating himself he should just move up he's not a young kid who drys out then rehydrate easily without complications!! Rigo needs to grab hold of anything and everything because his career at 122 is not going to be long! If he wants to earn he has to bring his talents up to 126 ---130lbs! Thats the way it is! He could weigh 125 come fight night and take on any 130, he has the skills!! Ray.

No excuses. Donaire thought he was going to walk in and KO Rigo and he paid for that ****.

Man if Rigo came in at 125 imagine how much that JrLW would weight? But then again he's being outweighed by 10+ lbs as it is at 122 I guess.

Beat me to it, bro. lol

It's like "Ralph Kramden" said in "The Honeymooners," "Be kind to the people you meet on the way up, 'cause they're the same people you'll meet on the way down."

Perhaps in the rematch Donaire shouldn't just follow him around and try to win end fight with one big punch.

Maybe then he'll have a better chance.

Out of 34 voters, so far, only one (obviously the TS) thinks Donaire would win a rematch.

I can see a rematch being more competitive, but "El Chacal" outclassed Nonito so clearly, so convincingly, that I can't conceive of anything other than another Rigo victory.

Donaire probably won't fight again at 122 and Rigo won't fight at 126, a rematch is very unlikely at this point.

Dunno who that is or what movie that is but that's actually a great saying.
