That is not the point of this thread..
This thread is about if Alvarez has the tools to beat Mayweather or not.. As was my post.
Mayweather keeps fighting the same guy over and over and some people keep expecting different results

The only thing that concerns me is if Floyd will damage his right hand again. I hope not.

if there's one thing good about canelo's game, it's his patience. for his age he already have it in him which is unusual for young fighters. he picks his spot which somewhat makes him unpredictable because you don't know when he unloads his combinations. trout never really figured out canelo despite his busy workrate because canelo stick to his gameplan all throughout the fight.

i'm not sure it that will work against floyd but the combination of size and power advantage (if he's not weight drained) plus his patience and propensity to follow the game plan could make it difficult for floyd.

I've giving Alvarez a great chance to win. In fact I think he will win. He will hurt Mayweather in this fight more than Mayweather will hurt him. People are picking Mayweather by rote and habit. Making the same old tired arguments they always do. Mayweather will dominate and probably stop etc.

Mayweather is getting older and this is the first true non-cherry picked and riskiest contender he will have faced in a decade. It is not going to be the same old tried and true result. Mayweather is in for a tuff go. He must have been coerced in this. I know the masses won't be convinced until they actually see it happen. But this is the fight that Mayweather loses.

                  They are stylistically predictable.

No one expected Guerrero to take it to Berto like that, certainly a lot didn't expect Guerrero to outright shell up against Mayweather.

Do you even know Canelo's gameplan? It was a lot different for Trout than it was for Lopez and Hatton.

I think Nacho is just trying to give the ginger some confidence. The Ginger has no chance.

The ginger has poor stamina, his workrate is not high enough. He's not a big puncher, he's not relentless like Marg, he's not exceptionally fast... the only think he's got is his size advantage. Other than that, he doesn't have any other advantage over Cherrypicker.
