As a big Money fan I just hope this isn't for Canelo's title. If you fight for someone's title then you should be allowed to come in at that weight class weight limit.

The only thing that Floyd should be concerned with Canelo is his strength. Canelo is a young stud and is coming with that youthful power. Other than that I think Floyd wins another decision after another boxing clinic. Floyd has fought plenty of ****ers while Canelo has never fought someone with the skill level as Floyd.

Most people that post on this site are fans of boxers, not fans of boxing. I see that make for lots of nonsensical arguing lol.

        dang!

Can't believe this fight's made!! well good luck to the both of them.. I got to jab a little at mayweahter though..

fought cotto at 154, because of not wanting to drain him like pac did.. yet it's 152.. fine with me.. canelo's 22 or 23.. he's just got to kick back on tacos and coronas a little more.. and it's funny how the same fans who justified Floyd not fighting someone so much bigger on fight night are saying it's cool.. lol!

What's funny to me, is he never made the fight with manny because he accused him of steroids and how his health was first.. but yet he's man enough to get into the ring with a guy that balloons to 170+, who's younger and bigger than pac..

regardless.. I think money pulls this one off.. 115-113.. 116-112..

keep in mind he's got the network, haymon and Ellerbe on his back.. I see this as cotto/mayweather 2.. with closer cards that is..

What the hell is this? I talk about the sport plenty, as I just did(I do also take the piss out of the more idiotic fringe of Floyds fanbase, I'll admit). You called for same day weigh ins all of a sudden because it suits Floyd. I said that was dumb and dangerous. Basic stuff.

Yeah, sure buddy. Now get lost.
Canelo offered the catch weight now? He just said both him and Floyd made concessions on the weight, it's in the ****ing thread title LOL.

Anyway it doesn't matter who offered what or who called out who, Floyd said he doesn't wanna drain fighters like Pacquiao and now he's doing it = hypocrite. And I'm a Floyd fan.

And I'm cool with that, just don't say it's not hypocritical like the stan above did.

Off course its hypocritical but justified under the circumstances , same as Manny wanting OST is hypocritical but also justified under the circumstances , life is dynamic and nothing is engraved in stone , things change in life that also change how things unfold , this is life .

You have to give mayweather a bit of respect for taking this fight, even though it's at a catch weight......it's a 2 pound difference.....for a fighter that will re-hydrate to 170-180 fight night....Mayweather has a good chance of winning this fight..But...If canelo goes to the body and is smart aggressive,Canelo will win...
                Mayweather will fight Next:
                1)Canelo
                2)Alexander Or Khan
                3)Pac-Man
                4)Sergio Martinez

Canelo knew Floyd wouldn't fight him him without this advantage so to get the fight he went for it. If Canelo didn't, Floyd would say Canelo turned the fight down, we seen this trick before. Floyd has so many tricks he could be considered "The King of Advantages".

Showtime did everything they could to force this we can be sure. Team Mayweather realized it would be better to fight Alvarez now while he's still inexperienced at the highest levels. Floyd is only getting older. Better now than later for multiple reasons.
