Personally, if I were in Canelo's shoes, I'd say screw Floyd and any financial penalties. Canelo's a JMW, it's a JMW fight and the JMW titles are on the line, so I'd weigh in at 154 and give weighlf the best possible chance of victory. If I were his manager or promoter I'd be telling him to do just that and offering to cover his losses myself.

For real? So it's not bad enough he's forcing Canelo to dehydrate himself more than he usually would, but now you want to keep him dehydrated for the fight?
I'm tired of all these anti-Floyd haters. Canelo challenged him, he wanted the fight with the man, he got his wish. Second, if Canelo is worried about it, why are you? He obviously shouldn't be fighting at 154 if weight draining is an issue and he 're-hydrates close to 20lbs overnight. Perhaps he should fight in a weight class closer to his natural weight. Lastly, when Canelo loses, this will the excuse, he was sluggish because blah blah blah.
You don't know if it's a financial penalty or postponement is stipulated for being overweight,

Unfortunately I will not pay to watch a dead man walking drained Canelo.

I don't see the hypocrisy. Canelo called him out and wanted the fight badly. Floyd didn't force this. Canelo's team even said the fight could be done at 150 - they wanted it that bad and now they've settled in the middle.

Floyd called De La Hoya and Cotto out and he moved UP in weight to fight them. Manny (Arum) called Cotto and Margo out and made them go DOWN in weight. Canelo wanted Floyd, said the fight could be done at 150 but they decided to meet at 152.

A few days ago you were saying Floyd was ducking Canelo and that he was going to fight Alexander. Now that the fight with Canelo is official, you find something else to ***** about. It's the same ol' broken record stuck at one specific spot.

If you don't like the fight then just don't watch it. It's that ****ing simple.

I agree and I said it last night...If Canelo is fine with it then why are all the haters coming to his defense? Nobody forced Canelo to take the fight, he called out Floyd! If its such a big deal, he could've walked away and fought Cotto at 154 for probably a minimum of $5 million

The hypocrisy comes from Floyd saying he wants to fight guys at their comfortable weight. That's all he said, he didn't say "if I call them out". You're using that as a way to rationalize the catch weight.

And every boxer on the planet has been a hypocrite.Name me one fighter that hasn't either gone back on their word or changed their mind on something, the same way each and every one of us has. Haters holding Floyd to a hypocrisy standard higher than the standards they hold themselves to. Gimme a break and just enjoy the fight, stop whining about what Floyd said in the past. Who cares! If you hate him so much, just come out and admit that you hate a guy that you've never met. Just admit it, dont try to justify your hate over a 2 lb catch weight.

So when you have the opposite team coming up to you and they propose to YOU that they want the fight at a CW of 150-152 you just say "No, I want him at 154"?

Yeah, sure buddy. Now get lost.

All he has to say is different circumstances change things , if you fools would hold others to the same degree you hold Floyd everybody would need to live in a closet to stay true to something said years ago . its easy to see he doesnt want to give Canelo the full weight advantage he gave ODH and Cotto both former LWs and JWWs .

                  Hate is so blind !

I used to box for five years. It is hard to lose additional weight especially when you you just almost made the limit. It weakens the fighter and it is not good for your health. I experienced that myselft you feel very weak. Cotto vs Pacquiao catchweight was **** and the catchweight for this fight sucks too. At the end of the day Mayweather is no way better than Pacquiao. Slogan I want to fight ther fighter at his comfortable weight LOL. Floyd Mayweather keep fooling the boxfans by talking **** and taking fights where the advantages are on your side for example the Marquez fight and now this fight.

And Saul is comfortable with the weight and he was the one that called Floyd out , its crazy the handicaps Floyd is expected to take on board .
