Canelo landed 3 shots the whole fight, I hate revisionist history.

Then Floyd should have killed him. No? How does your opponent land only 3 punches the entire fight and yet hes still standing? Floyd should have went in for the kill then yet chose to dance for the entire 12th round.

I've watched the fight a few times now and each time I thought Canelo made some rounds competitive but he still clearly lost the rounds. I could only give Canelo 3 rounds at the most. But he gave a good account for himself in many of the rounds but he did not win them. I think ppl are swayed at times when Mayweather gets hit with a good punch in a round because they're not used to seeing him get hit and they look for rounds to give to his opponent. Hell in round 3 the crowd got excited because Mayweather reacted to a faint by Canelo.

Mayweathers consistent jab was underrated in this fight. Canelo couldn't get out of the way of it.

Floyd won comfortably but a lot of rounds were 60-40 for Mayweather, it wasn't the wash people make it out to be. The experience was the telling difference, Mayweather took a lot of rounds with his quick punches while Alvarez was trying to put everything on his shots and missing.

If Alvarez would have waited a few more fights and Mayweather declined a little bit things could have been different ,the thing is Mayweather is showing no signs of slippage.
