Brother Richardson makes a valid point. Everyone sees Canelo as the future of the sport. If it's a close fight or if it's hard to score, I have a feeling that Canelo may get a draw to keep his momentum going.

Canelo wins this fight he is the cash cow for the next decade. Plus promoters have their hands in Canelo's pockets more than Floyd. Floyd is not too big to get robbed by the boxing powers that be, Haymon may help but Golden Boy, Sulaiman, and the NSAC are much more influential.

Good points by Dougie who I usually respect his opinion. But as noted before, he's not talking any strategy or fighting factors here. "Young, strong, and bigger" isn't going to win you a fight by default, especially not against Floyd Mayweather. I think Canelo will try to fight a thinking man's game and will soon discover he's out of his league in that realm. This goes to a decision with Floyd winning this fight decisively, 10-2.

Richardson is being hypocritical in this idea. You could very well say the same thing for Floyds entire career. For over a decade he was the face of boxing, and you knew any "close" decision was going his way.
Now in Floyds defense, he hasn't been in many close fights, but the Castillo first fight comes to mind and I think he lost that one.
Canelo is being seen as the future of boxing, and we know how wrong judges have been, but I'm starting to think Richardson has something against Mexican fighters. He seems to always have something to say about them.

Over trained - Mayweather hasn't fought twice in 1 year in about 6 years, he was 150lbs 30 days before the fight. People are overlooking that Mayweather could have over trained for this fight, he was gasping for air in that public workout when he was doing the speed bag telling people to step back so he could get some air. I'm not saying that's a clear sign but he looked a little rusty when just a few weeks back he looked better on another ustream workout he had.
Maybe he was just having a bad day but he didn't look like vintage Mayweather.
Hand problems - He admittedly hurt his hands against Guerrero and less then 1-2 months he's back in the gym? How's he going to keep Canelo off if he were to injure his hand again? To get Canelo's respect he's going to have to put some hurting on him and with a busted hand that could be a huge problem.
Canelo is really good/Smart - He's a fighter who has shown to adapt his style and come in with a great game plan, Mayweather might have a false sense of confidence from fighting the "Toe to Toe" Zombie in Guerrero and might have bit off more then he can chew.
Canelo is getting no respect around here but I can't remember the last Mayweather fight where I thought there was a good chance of him losing.

I think the best thing for Canelo is to beat Floyd clean which I wouldn't have a problem with. I'm not naive enough to think it can't happen only a Knockout would surprise me in this fight. I don't want Floyd to win if he doesn't deserve it.

Anything is possible, and I've played with the idea in my head and it certainly could happen. When you've watched this sport for many years you realize that anything can happen in, as Merchant cleverly called it, the "theater of the unexpected". A draw type "robbery" isn't out of the question.
Another thing to consider is that Floyd would likely get the decision under any circumstance. I don't think Canelo is good enough to win 6+ rounds, but IF he were to make it a real close affair, I can see them giving Floyd a wide UD. Which will have everybody bitching about it for eons, even worst than the Castillo fight.
