Lara got this. He will stop Angulo with straight lefts right down the pipe. It will be awesome if Lara fights the winner of Mayweather/Canelo or a rematch with Molina for the IBF belt.

Where is Lara's legion of worshippers? The cult has been AWOL since he had his bacon saved vs. martirosyan. I think Angulo is shot, but hopefully he has enough left to send Lara back to ESPN2 with his tail between his legs.

I called Vanes beating Lara, before they fought to a draw when their fight was stopped. Angulo isn't Vanes though, in the sense that he lacks that level of speed, and matching speed is the one way to give a tricky and ugly-styled boxer like Lara major problems. Speed kills.

Angulo will lose. He's too slow. "Perro" will be plodding along all night as Lara continually lands pot-shots and counters. I think the fight will end in a decision, but wouldn't be surprised if Erislandy stops Alfredo. I wouldn't mind betting points, if you're down.

I still think Lara will win, however Angulo won't get stopped and will pressure Lara all night making it a close points decision for Lara. My point is Angulo will perform better than expected. Everyone is expecting him to plod around and I don't think that's the case.

I don't think Alfredo is getting stopped either. I just think it's a possibility (by accumulation of punches). I also think "Perro" is going to pursue Lara 'til the bitter end. Unless Erislandy comes into the fight in poor condition, he'll avoid getting caught and land plenty of shots off Angulo's hard head. Both these guys should be motivated for this encounter, so it should make for a good fight.

Lara was winning the fight and on his way to a KO, he was hurting Vanes with the straight left, the Armenian quit after the head butt, and didn't want a rematch that is why he is fighting Angulo
