Angulo is a shot fighter. Lara will win a wide UD or stoppage. Really, Angulo is tailor made for Lara to make him look good. The Cuban is too skilled for El Perro.

I don't know if Alfredo knows how to do that, to be honest. He pursued Silva around the ring practically all night in his last outing. Jorge, a natural welterweight, did pretty damn well against the plodding Angulo. He might've won the fight if he didn't perplexingly attempt to trade with "Perro" on several occasions. Alfredo simply couldn't deal with the movement. Lara is much better and much bigger than Silva. Angulo won't have any answers.

You make a very valid point. As they say, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but it's possible he learned from that fight. Silva was beating him up most of the fight. Perro looked like the amateur in there chasing him.

True. I mean. I'm giving Perro another shot. It seems a lot of people have written him off judging by his last performance. As they say, you're only as good as your last fight, which is fair I guess. However, I just feel like he's got a little more left in the tank. He knows this may be his last shot and he may put it on the line.

I just think this is a horrible style match up for him.
Hopefully his new trainer taught him some useful things

Cutting off the ring isn't a difficult skill to learn. Maybe Angulo's trainer worked with him on that after the Silva fight. What was more concerning was that Alfredo was taking some punishment from a much smaller man. In return, "Perro" wasn't particularly impressive in hurting the natural welterweight. Since Jorge stood and fought several times, one would think Angulo would've taken him out. Instead, Silva saw the final bell. Bottom line: Alfredo isn't looking very good nowadays. And Lara, although not an amazing fighter, is still much better than Angulo.

expecting an actin fight here because Angulo is a willing target
Lara isn't a barnburner but he isn't completely boring
he's gotten some KO's and the Williams fight was pretty good
got Lara taking this by clear UD though it's gonna be a tough one
Angulo is just too slow to win this, Lara brings movement
