Smellerbe and the rest of the floboners disagree...2lbs makes you completely drained apparently!

At age 22 , 2 pounds is NOT a lot of weight to shed.

Canelo has said they will both be comfortable.

Canelo will still have a huge 12lb+ advantage .

If Canelo has stamina issues , he had them previously so STFU.

This is NOT the same as Cotto vs Manny, Cotto came in at 145 and 148 on fight night which is a 3LB difference.
          A) how would you know? Everyone is different

          B) Cotto said he was comfortable before and after the fight, yet that wasnt good enough for you bumsniffing flomfloms.

          C) Rehydrated weight is more often a hindrance than a help and has been a non issue ever since day before weigh ins were introduced. It didnt suddenly become one because you and the rest of the flomfloms have sand in your gashes about it.

          D) Just

          E)....

Hard times for floms. The result is meaningless if Floyd win as he has asked for a cw...somerthing thats beneath him and his bumsniffing fans.

            • Official weigh-in: Alvarez 153 lbs, Trout 153 lbs

Pre-Fight Weights: Alvarez 172 lbs, Trout 171 lbs

Never been a fan of the catch-weights but lets be real here, 1lbs difference isn't going to affect a 22year old Alvarez. Especially after a successful 153lb weigh-in.

Floyd isn't going to have 6 more fights, not coming from a guy who fights once a year. He's taking on the biggest payday, against a young fighter who probably need another year to really be ready IMO. Instead he's taking him on now, at a weight he wants and I think that's the smartest thing for Floyd.
That's what I found to be most interesting. I thought it would be in Floyd's best interest to take this fight now.

I thought GBP would want it to play out where Floyd's last fight of his 6 fight deal would be Canelo. You'd have time for Canelo to mature another 2 years, and Floyd to get 2 years older; it would seem to me that would be Canelo's best shot at getting the win.

Saul showed great improvment against Trout, but, I don't think the fighter that was in the ring with Trout on that night has nearly enough in his arsenal to deal with Mayweather.

Yeah, but you dont do catchweights and neither does floyd...you wanna hold your hand up now and admit you've been a bell end or shall we just bump some of your old CW quotes?

                  • Does anybody know how much the pentalty is per LB if canelo weighs in over 152? If canelo is having a hard time cutting weight it might make sense for him to just pay the fines so he can come in feeling stronger/healthier

A gazillion dollars for every ounce over the catchweight, Floyd's just a B1TCH like that.
