    Can you read?

The fight might have been even on the cards but if you watch the fight, it's clear that those scorecards are ridiculous and both Barker and Murray did better against Martinez.

Sturm did beat Murray, which is exactly my point.

Sturm-Murray was a draw as the actual result, on the cards. Was Macklin-Sturm? No. But who did better in actual reality?

Macklin is going to get brutalized by Golovkin.

Macklin is good, but he can be hurt, he can be broken up, he can be cut etc... ~He also doesnt have the skills to keep Golovkin off him, nor is he a good enough inside fighter to beat GGG there. Im going with a mid round KO for Golovkin.

Macklins face is going to be a mess before the end.

It might not even go to the mid rounds in all honesty.

It's a step up for Golovkin and Macklin is a decent solid Top 10 fighter but this is a miss match.

OP's getting a lot of stick, but he is right in saying that Macklin is good and it would be a very good win for Golovkin if he can KO him in the manner of his previous opponents. A lot of people still say Golovkin is untested, after Macklin he won't be. It would go some way to confirming his talent but he would have to back it up against other contenders.

Where I disagree with OP is where he says Murray didn't beat Martinez. I believe he did and that was the general impression of those who watched the bout.

Honestly, where's this shit coming from that if Golovkin can KO Macklin that it's a big statement?

I'm more impressed by Golovkin's stoppage of Lajuan Simon then if he stops Macklin

If Macklin lasted the distance, that would look bad on Golovkin.

It will be a solid win, nothing more.

There is absolutely no way Macklin see's a descision.

If he does, I'll be very shocked and disappointed.

He's 1/4 at the bookies to stop Macklin, 5/1 to win via decision.

The over 8.5 is 5/4, that's actually pretty good value tbh. The under 8.5 is 1/2 though, fucking hell, that's say something.
