The Ginger is not all that beleive me, not yet anyway
I agree that Floyd beats "Canelo" at 154. I don't care about the size advantage in this case. Mayweather is leagues above Alvarez in terms of skill and ability.

Lara's talented as fcuk, but he lacks focus. And that's what will be his undoing if he keeps it up. And he has pop. Canelo is deceptively quick, but he'll need a phone booth (and maybe that won't even work) to tag a focused Lara. And Canelo & his team knows this, that's why they're sitting around, waiting & hoping for Lara to lose so they can say, he really wasn't ready, you see so & so beat him, right? They don't want problems & Lara is just that.
Rigondeaux and Gamboa are talented as fuck. Lara has talent, no doubt, but not on that level, in my opinion. I agree with your analysis that Trout didn't have the pop to keep Alvarez off of him. Perhaps Erislandy has enough power to do so, but he's not exactly a ****er himself. Lara has good movement, so I can see him giving "Canelo" problems in that department. I agree on one more point: a focused Lara is a formidable opponent. If Landy comes into this fight with purpose, as I'm sure he will, we might just see his star rise overnight.

Maybe I am giving Alvarez too much credit. But I think Trout is a solid fighter and Saul performed well, whether you think he lost or not. While I think Lara is a solid fighter himself, I don't know if I'd pick him to make Alvarez "bleed all over the ring." Erislandy doesn't impress me quite that much. He's just too inactive for all that. I would be rooting for Lara, should a fight with "Canelo" ever materialize, but I wouldn't be too confident in an Erislandy victory.
Lara has more pop than Trout. He's faster and much lighter on his feet.

Which means... Canelo gets tired even quicker from chasing the faster guy with pop. Lara would have to play it like the Vanes fight. Stink out the joint till that fool tires out then sharpshoot him in the late rounds.

You think Canelo is afraid of Lara? I think he'd blast Lara out KO style.

No way is Lara better then trout, if he's so good why did he strugle with both Vanes and Molina? (average fighters), Canelo Ko's his ass maybe a decision because this guy is a over defensive boring figther.

Molina an average fighter? This place is getting ridiculous.

Styles make fights. You bring up Molina - who ever looked good vs. him? Give me one fighter that did. That Vanes fight, well I might as well had some warm milk & been tucked in bed like some old fart @ a nursing home .....

I agree that Landy has more pop, but it's not like he's got dynamite in his fists. As an example, Lara hit P. Will with everything but the kitchen sink and maybe rocked him once. Erislandy has good power, not great power.

True, but it should be enough to keep Canelo honest & truthfully, we don't know about his chin because he hasn't been in there with top comp, save Trout, who's only being mentioned because he beat a shot Cotto.

Williams had like 3 inches on the guy and I thought I heard HBO crew say 10+ lbs as well?

If Canelo tired out from chasing a guy who doesnt move as much as Lara and doesnt hit as hard what do you think will happen vs Lara? Oh and btw there's the Canelo chin question mark too. Shaky chin + fatigue = a KO waiting to happen.
