While I think Lara is a solid fighter himself, I don't know if I'd pick him to make Alvarez "bleed all over the ring." Erislandy doesn't impress me quite that much. He's just too inactive for all that. I would be rooting for Lara, should a fight with "Canelo" ever materialize, but I wouldn't be too confident in an Erislandy victory.

I hope you're right about the match-up. I would love to see Landy take the spotlight like that.

Trout, while solid, is doesn't have the total package. The reason why he lost was because he didn't have enough pop to keep Canelo off him. That, and getting dropped. Lara's talented as fcuk, but he lacks focus. And that's what will be his undoing if he keeps it up. And he has pop. Canelo is deceptively quick, but he'll need a phone booth (and maybe that won't even work) to tag a focused Lara. And Canelo & his team knows this, that's why they're sitting around, waiting & hoping for Lara to lose so they can say, he really wasn't ready, you see so & so beat him, right? They don't want problems & Lara is just that.
