If I was boring, decision fighter Andre Ward I'd be reluctant to fight Froch in the UK too. Not only would I have to fear the crowd and judges but I'd have to fear the British referee who would happily take points away from me for my illegal headbutts and excessive clinching. I'd basically be going into the fight 50%.

The scoring in the Kessler - Froch II fight surely hasn't changed his view. Not that the judges found the wrong winner, but 2 of the cards was attrocious.

Personally I don't understand if Ward turns the fight down. He'll whup Froch easy.
Dirrell was horrible in that Froch fight. Every time they engaged, dirrell bottled it and fell on the floor. Even dirrell promoter said he should have stood and fought more. Soooo glad Froch got that decision.

Andre Ward wants to stay at home with his safety blanket drinking cocoa and having "safe" fights with "safe" refs who allow him to use his dodgy tactics while calling himself a World champion.

Maybe he knows hardly anyone would bother to travel to watch him fight and he would feel all alone......awwww!

Ward would likely make just as much money with Chavez if not more.

Bute & Pavlik aren't bad options either from a financial perspective.
Jr. won't fight Ward, Bute is injured and is fighting at 175, Pavlik is retired.

I like Ward as a fighter, but truth is that without moving up he doesn't have a great number of options at this point in time.

Beside headbutts, clinching and an asswooping on the scorecards, what other erasons would Froch have to go to joakland?

Ward is the one that wants Froch. Froch isn't exactly begging for this fight.

Which was scored by an American, an American judge that the HBO crew held in high esteem. When was the last time a foreign fighter was actually robbed in the UK?

he probaby thinks he deserves more money because he's been winning the fights. if froch brings more to the table (and it's evident that he does with UK ppv money and gates,) then he should get at least half. really, he should get more.

i'm starting to think he'll make a boatload more fighting in the UK for this one.

he's also afraid of the robbery, surely. the fight will go to the cards. ward doesn't knock a guy around the ring, and usually just boxes with them. he may get robbed.
