How did you score Kessler - Froch II?

Possibly true, personally I counted 6 close rounds in this fight with a best-case scenario of 7-5 to Kessler so even though I felt Froch won, a Kessler decision would have been no Bradley-Pacquiao.
Sauerland and Hearn seem keen on Froch-Kessler III as it makes money so it might happen down the line but health-wise I think they should probably leave it there and fight other opponents. Imo Kessler still very much has 'it' if he wants to continue.Kessler has only said that he was not ready to say anything. I reckon it will be at least a couple of weeks before a decision is made.Last edited by Weebler I; 05-27-2013, 04:21 AM.Comment

Agreed.
They are promotors so who can blame them?Sauerland and Hearn seem keen on Froch-Kessler III as it makes money so it might happen down the line but health-wise I think they should probably leave it there and fight other opponents.
If I where Kessler I'd retire. A close loss in England in a great fight to a great fighter like Froch is a pretty good end. I'd hate to see him become a steppingstone and I don't think fights with Stieglitz/Abraham would do anything for his legacy.
Kessler is a great guy and he talks intelligently and you can understand what he is saying. I'd like for him to continue in the sport in some way as commentator/trainer or something.Comment

Me too, although I felt I was closer than II.
I love both fighters though & it's a shame we don't have more fighters like them around nowadays.
Also, I bet with a Danish mate of mine so he now has to send me a jar of Marmite. Thank you Carl Froch!Comment

You did? Hahaha!
He should send you some marinated danish herrings also.

I'd never make a bet with an englishman. I hate christmas pudding.

I scored it for Carl Froch. Easy fight to score. Kessler fought well at times, but Froch won clearly.Comment
