Floyd does look big at ww. But he also looks to be 150, as Lampley said in his fight against Ortiz. He looked big against JMM. He looked kind of skinny against Shane. And he looked really skinny and small against Ghost. He looked the way he looked when he fought Hatton. Like a skinny little fighter.
What does Floyd weigh on fight night?

You have these facts.
Yet, we still have a list of people saying "Just look at him, I'd say he's about 160" despite everything pointing to the fact it's so obviously not the case.
Floyd came to the ring at 150 in 2011.
Someone needs to let me know where on Earth these other 10 lbs are coming from.Comment

There is an abundance of morons on this site. Even when facts smack them in the face, they remain in denial with their ******ity. You have these facts.

floyd's fight night weights.... from the past.... ie: vs. delahoya, zab judah and others....
have always been around his weigh in weights.... i think his last fight at 135, he weighed 140 on the night.....
out of the ring, its well documented he walks around at 151ish..... so he's definitely not weighing more than that on the night of the fight....
on his 10day out weigh in he was 148..... that's also revealing, as fighters start dehydrating, cutting weight with 7days to go, where you can drop as much as 10-15lbs....
he has said in his post fight interviews.... against ortiz that he weighed 148lbs on the night, against cotto he weighed 147lbs.... although there's no way of validating these weights....
but chances are he weighs no more than 148. from his track record alone, looking at the recorded weights from his older fights.... he's a small welterweight, there's no chance of him growing out of the weight, like there was at 126/ 130/ 135.....Comment

The source was JMM, at 3:18:After the Marquez fight, there was a thread saying "Mayweather was 160 lbs coming to the ring" of course without a shread of evidence or even a source and people seemed to run with it from there.
It's so abundantly clear that he's never been near 160 lbs.
Both times he's fought at Jr Middleweight has he weighed more than 151 lbs at the weigh in? I don't think he has.
2 fights ago, against Ortiz, he came to the ring at 150 lbs.
30 days out, he was 148 lbs for his last fight.
It doesn't take a genius to see that he's clearly a small Jr Middleweight and a solid WW. Absolutely not a big WW at all.
Floyd could have easily proved him wrong by stepping on the scaleComment

Canelo was just 166 for his 30 day weighin. He was also 166 fight night for Lopez. He could have refused fight night weighin for Trout, and you'd assume he's 166.floyd's fight night weights.... from the past.... ie: vs. delahoya, zab judah and others....

Yup, these people you talk about must be the ones who have gone on a crusade trying to make excuses that Floyd, who has fought at 154 twice and is now too small to fight at 154 and should bring other 154 fighters down to 147.
Now fighting only twice at 154 may seem like not much but:
- Floyd currently holds a title at 154.
- Floyd has fought many opponents who have fought 0, 1 or only 2 WW fights and Floyd's fans have always been OK with that .... but now its different because its Floyd???
- Floyd's team always says "it's skills not size that pays the bills"
- Floyd has fought at 147+ since 2005
- Floyd fight before Guerrero was at 154.
- The opponent that they are concerned about only has size and power advantage. If that opponent goes down to 147-150, he may lose out on his only advantage. Why would Floyd or his fans want that?
That is what this is all about. If you think it's not then you are in denial.Last edited by ADP02; 05-26-2013, 03:48 PM.Comment
