  • Can Froch beat Ward?

    Not is he a draw?
    Not venue.
Not Ward is boring. Froch is exciting.

When they get in the ring can Froch beat Ward?

I say no, he is slow(er than ward), punches are wide and jabs are not snappy enough to worry Ward.

The problem is like other divisions the number one guy is far ahead of the rest of the pack it's almost unfair on the Number one guy.

No, not unless I'm once again severely underestimating him. The first fight made it clear who the better man was.

Unless the injury affected Ward in some massive way, Froch can't compete with him.
It's due to Ward's style. I can't see how Froch would be able to beat healthy Ward.

Froch can't beat ward. I think even he accepts that.

Ward is a different kind of freak. He's a hometown fighter with an annoying, fast and powerful style who isn't afraid of using dirty tricks to even the odds.

The odds are stacked against Froch..

I hope Froch wins it, but I wouldn't put money on it.

            Yes, he can.

But if they do it again, he won't.

Yeah say what you will about Ward's drawing power, his fan base, or how exciting he may or may not be. But IMO he's THE top pound for pound fighter on the planet.

I don't think anyone can beat him. Froch is good, but no.

Froch came on well in the last part of the fight against Ward, maybe if hes able to get a decent start like he has against Bute and Kessler it might be more competitive.

I voted that he could beat Ward since that was the question. That is not the same as saying he would beat Ward. He seemed to have a bad night in the first Ward fight and he seems to be on a roll now, looking better and better even at 35. Ward has been out of action and having injury problems. I think Froch has a good chance to win especially if the fight is in England.

Just about anything can happen in a fight. Froch is too good to be counted out completely against anyone. It would be very unlikely for him to beat ward though, like one in a million.
