Not Ward is boring. Froch is exciting.

When they get in the ring can Froch beat Ward?

I say no, he is slow(er than ward), punches are wide and jabs are not snappy enough to worry Ward.

The problem is like other divisions the number one guy is far ahead of the rest of the pack it's almost unfair on the Number one guy.
Ward loses if he gets hurt (broken fist?) during the fight and quits. Other than that I don't see Ward losing.

Any thing is possible could be a fight wear Froch wins 5 rounds and is given the decision in the UK. Happens to foreign fighters hear all the time., Castillo, Mathysse Khan and other have been victims of USA robberies.

See he could, but the chances of him doing so are slim. Good win for him last night though.

No, but that's no knock on Froch. It's hard to really fault him, after all Ward is the best fighter in boxing.

Ward would win probably 8 or 9 times out of 10.

One thing from the first fight is that Ward did get tired down the stretch and started to get a little sloppy at the end. Froch would need a faster start. He tried to box with Ward too much last time.

              ward is simply too talented.

watching froch last night there were still alot of openings and a clever counterpuncher would exploit frochs lack of defence.

however i would say that after froch has improved since his last fight and he deserves another shot at the number 1. people forget that ward is a strong, skillful fighter but his chin is still susceptible.

I'd doubt it but it's plausible, Ward is too slippery and if he's not landing on you he makes damn sure you're not getting off on him.

If it was this new 'Smash-Up Boxing' i've heard about though then Froch would win fo' sho'.

No and Froch knows it. That's why he isn't the most eager and straight up comes out and says he isn't eager to fight him. That would ruin all this momentum and allure that he currently has. Two big wins over top class opposition creates the aurora that perhaps he does have a chance but lets be clear here, he doesn't present himself like a fighter who believes he has a chance against Ward. I loved the fight yesterday another classic by Kessler and Froch but something about them fighting for "World championships" when the REAL champ is sitting ringside commentating made it a tad bit funny. I guess when the money is coming in why would you ruin that for yourself by getting beat again?

He stands a real good chance of beating Ward. it has looked like since then Froch has improved each time. I do not think Ward would win a rematch! IMO!
As Teddy Atlas would say, you're lying to yourself. Froch is one helluva fighter and all that you say is true, but what makes Ward the better fighter is footspeed and footspeed is god given. It can't be trained into a fighter. In the first fight, Froch would set his feet to punch, but before he could get set up, Ward had landed a punch and moved on.

Its possible but if both are on A game, Ward wins. He is more skilled and not afraid to fight in a dirty, rough fashion that Froch would need to win. Guys like Kessler or Bute are "sportsman" it is a game and they their best but if they lose its ok. Ward, like Froch, will do whatever he has to too win.
