No he can not. Only advantages froch has over ward are better power and MAYBE a better chin.

I think in the UK,Froch will fight more relentlessly, which I believe he needs to be to beat Ward..He has to risk being knockout and show Ward no respect, that with his fans cheering him on(and a hometown ref)could give Froch just the edge to beat Ward..I'm gonna say not impossible, but not likely..I'd be rooting for Froch tho..Even tho Ward has grown on me..

That night!! That fight! Just because you have a bad night dont mean you cant beat a guy. If Froch goes back to his roots in the gym and tones and defines his skills as a fighter, and adds more to his arsenal each time he fights and especially after a loss. He stands a real good chance of beating Ward. it has looked like since then Froch has improved each time. I do not think Ward would win a rematch! IMO!

It wasn't a bad night though. Froch fought about as well as he could, and was outclassed.

You can't say it's impossible, but there was nothing in their first fight, or any of their fights since against others, to suggest a rematch would be different. Ward is special, Froch is just very good.

Not Ward is boring. Froch is exciting.

When they get in the ring can Froch beat Ward?

I say no, he is slow(er than ward), punches are wide and jabs are not snappy enough to worry Ward.

The problem is like other divisions the number one guy is far ahead of the rest of the pack it's almost unfair on the Number one guy.
                yes, maybe in the UK

People who say no obviously didn't watch the last two rounds of their fight and are not giving Carl his credit for improving as a fighter since that fight.

Froch got to Ward late tho,and imo showed Ward far to much respect in their first fight..

Froch looked very slow in the fight against Ward and was hurt in the 1st round by a huge left hook from ward that he never saw coming and i think it took him a couple rounds to recover and made himk gun shy and I don't see many people mention this punch... I've watched the fight several times and I honestly don't think Froch was himself but I know I'll get backlash and people will say maybe ward just made him look bad but I don't think thats the case .. Froch honestly had an off night and if they rematch I predict a draw or a much closer fight 7 rounds to 5 in either direction
