Because everytime he threw it he got caught with the left hand, and Rigondeaux was threatens by a law suit if he didn't show up for marroquin fight, that is how unmotivated he was, actually he was frustrated with all the legal issues he had at the time, three days before the fight he was in court to find out if he will fight or not, that is why he asked Arum to settle with Caribe before he even sign his contract to fight Donaire, he want a nice camp...

He said after the fight he shoulder was messed up already so the whole may have hurt it during the fight is not true. At least according to him. I'm done with this topic he got schooled and it would happen again. He could have three good shoulder and Rigo would still beat him.I feel If someone mentions a injury before a fight they would be pulled out of the fight would they not?
Maybe this injury was sustained throughout this fight...
Doesn't make sense to me but who's there to prove it?
IF he is lying I'm certain he wouldn't be aiming for a rematch after that first fight.Comment

Straight up I said once Donaire gets hit by Rigo's power he will shell up and only look for the KO. He got shook immediately about a minute in..what's he do? Stands there weary, and gets jabbed at and picked apart for 12 rounds.
Fighters would get SO much more respect by just not making excuses. Khan would be a hero for instance for all his fun fights, but then he says dumb crap and the crowd groans.Comment

You pointed it out because you knew knew it would disprove your dumb statement.
"Roy Jones can't outbox a bigger fighter for 12 rounds, Ruiz doesn't count"
It's like me saying "Froch can't handle southpaws, Bute doesn't count."Comment

So dumb that you decided to point out something I already specified.
But... but... Nishi hasn't lost in eight years, he's a beast, he's the #1 guy in the division.Comment

As far as your poor attempt... Froch probably can't, seeing that Andre Dirrell gave him fits and arguably won their fight.
On top of that, RJJ isn't a heavyweight, Ruiz is. Both Froch and Bute are '68-pounders.
Your logic fails you, yet again. Keep hyping up #1 guys in the division for Arum, you're good at that.Comment

He actually said that Rigo "was the better fighter than night". He also mentioned that he wasn't focused and didn't watch enough tape. I don't see those as escuses since fighters often lose when the dont prepare, and he's admitting he didn't prepare. I would love to see a rematch but I think the result is the same.Comment

He attempted to give Rigo credit then the excuses flew in, one after the other.Originally posted by NoMoTomatoCansQuote:

You were beaten by the better fighter H2H Donaire.
