I still remember the threads here before the Nishi fight. These guys were just echoing what Arum and Donaire were saying as if it were the truth.

Hahaha, by far. And that wasn't even as tough as what stans made it out to be. It's okay to be bias, but some posters will say anything to paint who the favor in the best light.

No bull, if Rigo was a natural '40, '47-pounder, I'd pick him over Mayweather.

Hahahaaaaa. Contract disputes. Even at the pre-fight press conference announcing the fight, they were arguing over which random drug testing. They wanted to sabotage the event.

The entire HBO commentating team did a good job of discrediting Rigondeaux's win also. I swear every couple rounds they would say something about the distractions. Baby this, baby that.

It seems like it was all a plan. Talk about the distractions in case you lose. If you don't win, then you have the perfect way out.

Donaire didn't throw the left or right a lot. Did it occur to you that it may have been something that Rigondeaux was doing that made Donaire hesitate?

Before the fight there was a video interview with Roy Jones on this site. Roy basically said there are no distractions for fighters. They still have to pay bills and further their career. But during the fight and after the fight, he started to make excuses for Donaire.

I asked myself why is Roy Jones Jr discrediting another fighters victory when he himself used to be a fighter. Then I saw this ***** during May Day

This shows bias and Roy shouldn't be allowed to commentate future Donaire fights.

Did you already forget all the excuses he was making for a year while fighters like Vazquez Jr and Mathebula? And they were downplaying his opponents not Donaire. Plus they supposed to praise a guy who ducked Rigo for a year? I hope you know only reason this fight happened it was cause Rigo re'uppped with TR and it was put in his contract.

I asked u what other Shiietz did donaire said to rigo and u can't even come back with an answer. Since fighters priases each other before a fight can u name one for me? And team rigo downplay donaires opponents means they're taking side jabs at donaire. This guy here is a trip lol. Like I said rigo won so why are u crying?
If you followed both fighters you would know what. I'm not wasting my time with you but I'll give you a quick one:
          Rigondeaux hasn't done anything.

Meanwhile he was fighting Vazquez Jr. Wth did Vazquez Jr accomplish to get a fight with Donaire? What did Rigo accomplish from the time Donaire made that comment to the time they fought? Nothing... So why keep making excuses?

I aint your fkin puppet dude. Go on and troll somewhere and get your own sources. If you follow this sport you would know fighters praise each other all the time. But my guess is you only follow Donaire and Pacquiao. So you wouldn't know.

All of Donaire's excuses are B.S.!

Robert Guerrero fought and won after his wife was diagnosed with CANCER.

Mayweather beat Cotto knowing his next stop was prison.

GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX beat his a55 while away from his family for 7 years.

            The list goes on...

Great fighters know how to win and find ways to win. Great fighters make adjustments in the ring. This proves Donaire is not a great fighter.

You forgot Rigo beat Marroquin after all he had to do prior to the fight. Martinez beat a cruiserweight with a knee injury he had prior to the fight.

The list is never ending. We can add a few more to that list.

I know it's not possible but if you're not 100%, you shouldn't be fighting.

Rigo put on a master class vs Donaire, made him look like a novice.. How can anyone pick Donaire in a rematch?

does anyone here think rigondeaux can do better than he already did? can he change something and not get put at a disadvantage etc

i think his best chance is to fight exactly the same way, and obviously donaire can train just for that, so a rematch should be much different, either donaire gets sparked the **** out or has both guys go through a war, but i doubt he'll sit back as idly as he was the first time, he'll make rigo throw more or rigo will lose

edit: that said, i dont want to see an immediate rematch, but i want to see both guys back in the ring soon

In plenty of instances he could of landed more than one punch at a time. He got hit a couple of times and cruised in a couple of the middle rounds.

Rigo is still adjusting to the pro style and has significant room for improvement
