This is boxing. Why are these *******s acting sensative as ****? How pathetic.

I agree he probably doesn't mean it but we want role models, I was impressed with how they had hyped the fight with the mutual respect until this, it had been rather refreshing. The reaction to this comment has killed the pre-fight hype that's for sure. He clearly didn't mean he wanted to end Kessler's life it was just said to generate interest for the fight. Some people are way too sensitive and will jump on anything to try and make some sort of scandal or to sell a story. This is boxing and it's fight week it should be expected.
I don't think it's being overly sensitive, thats somewhat of a non argument.
And fuel for those who oppose boxing.
The point stands Woolwich is a stone throw from the arena we'd all welcome a distraction from the events of this week. One where bravery courage and most of all respect dominate.Comment

'It's boxing...'
Bollocks, can't people see what might happen if Kessler was actually killed in that ring on Saturday? Haye got a lot of stick for his 'gang-****' comment but what Froch said goes that step further.
McClellan and Watson were both permanently injured in a British ring, it was BBofC who's heads were on the chopping block. They won't let anything like this slip. Froch isn't going to be fined or anything but they'll certainly let everyone know they don't agree with it and ask Froch to apologise.Comment

Froch saying you have to be a coward to fight on the backfoot and he'll stand toe to toe with anyone, what happened in the Abraham fight then? Johnson fight?http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=3YmG0vi2F0c#!
Think its been cut down, but its the best I can find
This dude is just full of shit.

It's funny to me that in a country where people drop words like F bombs and C bombs on a regular day to day basis during casual convo and business dealings a statement like "kill" demands an apology.Comment

wasn't he saying that when he gets hit his instinct is to stand and fight back, whereas a more cowardly fighter's instinct may be to runComment

lol ye guys still all worked up about this lol? So what would ye think if Froch had said ... "I'm going to hit Kessler in the face again and again until I knock him unconscious" I guess ye'd be all freaked out about that too? Quit being pansies :gay:Comment

No he said only cowards fight on the backfoot, which is something he's done several times. Not surprised he easily made weight with all that crap coming out his mouth.Comment
