    that's pure pussy
fighter says "I'll kill this guy" and he's investigated like some criminal?
that's weak as hell, it's boxing, a sport where people get hurt
how many fighters in boxing history have said "I'm gonna kill him?"
Froch had every right to say what he said, bitches are overreacting

Froch's apology should be more than adequate.
      Well said, as usual.

This seems like a pathetic effort from froch to boast more interest into the fight to generate more PPV revenue.

Idiot clearly knew what he was saying.

He knows David Haye made millions by slandering the klitchko's in the media so he's looking to do the same but looks like no one really gives a hoot.

froch has never had any recognition which he craves for unlike Calzaghe who was widely appreciated and the people's favourite.

froch is still not a recognised star in the UK despite his achievements and he has only started to get decent pay days. Wasn't long ago when he couldn't even get a TV company in the UK to show his fights.

I think it's more to do with his boring personality than anything else but I hope he gets some humble pie served by Kessler on Saturday night!

        Can't wait.

Unless England is much different than the states I doubt he is in much trouble. If a fighter could get in trouble for saying all the bad things they are going to do to their opponent then Broner and Paulie would both be in jail and they are just warming up with their threats and trash talking. Tyson liked to eat Lewis' non existent children and said his desire was to hit his opponent so hard he drove their nose bone into their brain and killed them and he did not get in trouble. Froch is a sweet talker compared to Tyson.

Brits are rather limp-wristed when the sport's obviously brutal nature is referenced by the fighters themselves. Anyone remember Ian Darke gushing blood out of his vag because of Hamed's little Thriller homage in his entrance prior to the Wayne McCullough fight?

It isn't the 'kill' business. Kill is never an option. Get a life.

We recently had a boxing related death here in the UK a fact people seem to have quickly forgotten. Also given this weeks events in South East London it's incredibly insensitive.

Besides that boxing has become far safer over the years, this should be seen as a positive.
All of boxing should try to distance it's self from death.

The reaction to this comment has killed the pre-fight hype that's for sure. He clearly didn't mean he wanted to end Kessler's life it was just said to generate interest for the fight. Some people are way too sensitive and will jump on anything to try and make some sort of scandal or to sell a story. This is boxing and it's fight week it should be expected.
