Timing, accuracy, technique, footwork etc are all part of power. Having power is a skill in itself. He doesnt weigh any more than other JWW's, if not a little less than most, but he hits harder than any of them. Why is that?

Ajose was tripling up on hooks to the head and body and landing ! he did it multiple times in their fight when they were on the inside I get that you're not saying he's a defensive wizard and ill concede he is not a walking punching bag (rios type) but he does not have good/great defense he's not mike tyson. The guy has scary power and can box in spurts ... That's it.

Just watch his fights. When you're trying to avoid him, he won't get caught in that trap of getting hit, and chasing you down. He'll apply smart pressure, and find his distance.

When you oblige him in a fist fight, he'll concede some shots to land his own.

When it turns into a war like that, that's no longer boxing. It's a fight. To Lucas, he no longer has to work to get to you. He can just rely on his chin, and his concussive power, and let the rest happen.

You can't nitpick at battles like that.

he has good skills. but without his power, hed be nothing special. im pretty sure most would agree with that. his power is his defining attribute. hes not fast, doesnt have a good jab, isnt overly hard to hit or accurate. hes a good pressure fighter, which is hard to find nowadays, but his pressure definitely comes from his power. he will have success as long as hes able to make ppl feel his power. will it work at 147? i dunno.

Was he supposed to Lucas is greatest fighter he's ever seen. Lucas has Ivan Drago type power but his technical are lacking a lil but I will say he's improved each time out and is must see right now he's the 140 version of GGG.
