I think Agbeko would take you to task on that statement and remind you of a fight vs Abner Mares and one incompetent ref named Russell Mora who clearly put on the worst officiating performance of the century. So bad in fact that years later he actually apologized.

That's like saying that Froch is at home fighting in Italy. That's actually closer than Atlantic City is to Oakland.

An American fighter fighting in America is always going to be a major advantage and generally speaking It wont really affect that guy fighting he'll mainly have the fans behind him not unless its a local home-town fighter he is fighting against.

Point is America is one massive ass country, secondly everyone else in the super six fought away from home so why was Andre Ward so different?

The problem is I do have a point...
Everyone else fought away there homeland, Froch went over to Denmark and fought in the lions den whilst what did Andre Ward do?

This is simply a case of a fighter being given the silver spoon treatment you're going to disagree on the basis of that you like Andre Ward but I'm sorry you can't even justify It!
"Ward did not need a hometown decision"
            What does that prove?
Was he allowed to hold in his fights and was he penalised for headbutting?

Andre Ward is a great fighter but you can't justify that one bit, its unfair on everyone who participated in that event and on Ward's behalf it definitely wasn't a good example of sporting integrity.

What I'm at loss of words for is how does that make it right?

Everyone else fought an away fight so why didn't Andre Ward that is all I want to know!

All the more reason for Ward to fight away from his homeland If you think he would of easily won, for many reasons...
It endears him to a new boxing crowd and with that he would gain more fans than he already has and with more fans... More money and more exposure.

So explain why shouldn't he of done what everyone else did?

Is Atlantic City apart of USA?

                I rest my case.

You have no idea how regional the dynamics are here in the US when it comes to where you're from and where you fight. You want to talk super 6? Fine. Ward fighting Abraham in Carson California was a bigger home ring advantage for Abraham than it was for Ward. SoCal has the biggest population of Armenians outside of Armenia itself. Not to mention the HUGE rivalry in everything when it comes to SoCal vs NorCal. If you saw the fight you'd see the Home Depot Center was pro AA, not Ward. AA had as many fans or more vs Dirrell in Detroit! In the states a Mexican will have home ring advantage against an American in Texas, California, etc. (see Canelo-Trout).
A Puerto Rican will have home ring in NY over an American (see Cotto vs Judah, Mosley, Clottey, etc). The only place Americans truly have an advantage is in Oklahoma and Mississippi and big fights don't really happen there.

Secondly, the SuperSix was on Showtime, an American channel, with American Sponsors, primarily watched by American viewers. It made zero sense for them to put an American from the west coast mind you (pacific standard time, not eastern standard) in Europe and show that fight in California at 1 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Sorry dude it's a business, it was never going to happen.

states govern themselves. people from new jersey do not identify themselves as californian.

you can "rest your case" wherever you'd like, it still doesn't mean you know what you're talking about.

you want andre ward to fight overseas?
                      why, exactly?
