I want to see Lucas-Garcia, with the winner either fighting Floyd right after, or fighting someone like Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana first.

Beat Danny then fight Alexander @ 147 to test the waters out, before facing Floyd. Don't put him in there with anything other than a slick fighter. Have to see how he deals with a 147 lb. slickster.

Anything other than a slickster gets mauled.

Lucas Matthysse recently made an exclusive appearance on BoxingScene Radio and discussed a variety of topics. The Argentinean recently made a big career move and retained the services of Al Haymon who is considered to be the most influential advisor in the sport. Those fighters under the Haymon umbrella often find themselves in big fights that come along with lucrative pay days. The track record speaks for itself and Matthysse is the newest fighter to join the Haymon stable. Matthysse was asked if he felt signing with Haymon would produce immediate results and put him in the best position possible to land the big fights against the likes of Danny Garcia and even Floyd Mayweather.

Lucas Matthysse has finally arrived in the United States as he will be facing one of his toughest challenges when he squares off against Lamont Peterson in a highly anticipated fight for Junior Welterweight supremacy this Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. Matthysse is regarded by many to be the best and most dangerous fighter in the 140 pound division and being able to beat a fighter like Peterson will go a long way to confirming that. The winner of this fight is also scheduled to face reigning WBC Junior Welterweight champion Danny Garcia later this year in September. Matthysse currently holds the interim WBC belt and is Garcia’s mandatory challenger.

And of course if Garcia takes a Khan rematch before fighting his mando its a duck.

He don't need to fight Alexander. Only fight left for him is Danny Garcia. Maybe Broner afterwards. Then I think he can go on and try to fight a Guerrero, Berto, Ortiz, etc. I think if he beats Garcia, his stock will be high enough to win the Mayweather lottery. Depends on how Al wants to play this though, haha.

I think it's to late to talk about a move to 147 when he beats Garcia.

              Pierre Oliver Cote
              Karim Mayfield
              Broner
              Khabib Allakhverdiev
              Maidana-Lopez winner

There are plenty fights for him at 140.

If Lucas beats Garcia, then i think Broner at 140 is the most natural matchup. Really not sure Broner will fancy risking his 0 this early in his career though.

Is that what he eats? No bull, real question... I'm curious as to how this guy has bombs in his hands! His sparring partners probably dread going to the gym.
