LM will get full time props from me when he beats a puncher himself. Second, there is no measuring stick until Floyd is mentioned. I want to see LM face a good puncher. Broner and Garcia will do.Comment

Props to the true boxing fans that have become NEW Matthysse fans. You know who you are. Viva Argentina!!!Comment

you're doubting Lucas' chin then?
Zab has some power at JWW and couldn't make a dent
what the hell does Floyd have to do with Lucas?
he's doing his business at 147-154 right now
Broner is physically strong but he's a boxer, not a puncher
not sure why you rate Garcia's power so highly either
Garcia's HL KO's are on shot Terrible and glass jaw KhanComment

People keep talking about the great punch power of Garcia but I don't think it really compares to the one of Mathysse. Garcia has 16 KOs in 26 combats which makes about 61 % of his fights. Lucas has 32 KOs in 36 fights which is about 88 % of his record. Garcia has only 2 KO's in his last 6 fights: the second fight with old faded Morales and vs. 'weak chin' Khan (which was also droped -and actually lost- against an old blown lightweight Julio Diaz). Kendal Holt, Morales I, Judah and Campbell lost decisions with the Phily native. On the other hand Lucas has won his las 6 fights by KO: Priotti, Mtz, Soto, Olusegun, Dallas and Peterson couldn't hear the last bell. In other words: it has been solely KO victories over Khan and Morales II which has mislead a lot of people to believe that Garcia is a KO artist when is far from being true while Mathysse has more grounds to make the claim of having more power.Comment

Broner sure does talk a big game and since he will be a 3 division champ at 130,135 and 147 there is no excuse for him to avoid Mathysse.
Maybe Al Haymon signed Mathysse so he can steer Lucas away from BronerComment

I'm trying to address the present state of business in boxing -- which struggles hard to keep afloat...
Such big "assets" like Broner and Matthysse should be carefully handled...Comment
