2 Champions on the same level should fight @ 54 but Floyd is a Superstar Mega Champion and he calls the shots. Man, this is embarrassing. To me, this takes away from his victory over Oscar and Cotto in my book. However, it is not Floyd saying this. It seems like Big Floyd is taking charge and making decisions Roger was scared of doing. I can see down the road with Big Floyd and Lil Floyd, because their ego will clash again. First of all this is Sr. Talking, not Floyd. Second, its negotiation posturing, they say this in business, an unreasonable demand, to give themselves a position of strength when they relent on the unreasonable demand, and proceed to grab a bigger piece of the financial pie. I don't believe Floyd will weight drain Canelo, when all is said and done. Its posturing for negotiation, and its done all the time in business.

It's a joke. So many losers saying Floyd fight 154, Floyd made top athlete earner for few years in a row. 0 dollars from endorsements, yet still finishes over 20 million more than the rest of them who are active all year round. Do you honestly think he reads your bull****.

Floyd has fought many of the top guys, people like Gatti, corralles, castillo etc get forgotten about. Alvarez has fought in 2010 at welterweight, he can make the weight easily, they just want a more static Floyd. Even then Alvarez isn't a knock out puncher, skills are not in the same league, he'll just try emulate Oscars slapping techniques again.
