Either way, Mares handled it like a champ in the rematch.
WTF are you even saying? Montiel was a world champion who got up from a world class punch. To say that, that was unacceptable is almost a crime. Montiel deserved to fight on, and the fight was stopped properly.

He did a terrible job that night he should have controlled the fight from the gate that is his job.

mares beats him without low blows. stop acting like it changed the outcome of the fight.

Oh, I'm sure that getting punched in the balls 5 times a round and calling a vicious low blow a knockdown in an extremely close fight had NO effect on whether Agbeko would win the fight.

He was knocked nearly unconscious and was involuntarily moving his legs whilr he was on the canvas. He got up and Mora told him to lift his hands up twice to show he was ok. He couldn't do that. Mora lifted his hands up for him, let him continue and get hit eith two more bombs. You call that a good job by the ref?

Agbeko was the true winner. Mares went low like what 20, 30 some odd times it was a disgrace. Possibly ruined agbekos career. Anyone backing Mares is biased period. I want Mora to go "embrace" Agbeko and then gets low blowed himself. The landscape would be different today if the true winner was given his due and justice prevailed.

The referee Russell Mora was over his head. He can't handle pressure, still making many mistakes, and the organizations continued to appointed him as a referee. What a joke.

yea he won the rematch fair and square. but to many he should have been penalized and probably would have lost to King Kong.
