Yeah, I don't even like hearing that win brought up. It was a long time ago; Abner was very young. That said, Rigo is just better. He should win this match-up, although Mares obviously can't be overlooked. It's a fight between quality fighters; anything can happen.

Who the hell is Rigo gunning for? Oh right, he is quiet as a church mouse.

Vamos Mares partale su madre ase negro.
Rigo is always quiet lol. I hope it happens Rigo would beat the brakes of mares

Props to Mares for wanting to test himself. Sadly though, I can see this going 12-0 for Rigo

Abner Mares vs Rigondeaux 2 of my favorite fighters, i would watch to be entertained by two of the finest boxers in the sport, technique, footwork, defense, and punching power would be on display, my heart would say Mares but my logic says Rigondeaux...........gotta love both of them, true champions and future legends

They should've stuck with their boy? Although given Donaire basically came mentally undone after the first flush counter landed on him, I can't blame them too much. Mares might lose, but he isn't getting punked like that and people know it deep down.

I agree with this, Mares will keep fighting, Donaire was frozen for rounds at a time.

                  Right, Rigo is real quiet.

                  Rigondeaux targets Mares:

Bottom line, thats exactly what this sport is all about. I don't give a **** about the business end, or who makes what. Boxing, is a sport. If it wasn't, it would be in the Business section of the newspaper. Abner Mares, is this generations Erik Morales, and his desire to consistently fight the best his division has to offer, shows who he is as a fighter. A man who is willing to prove himself time after time after time after time. Until Rigo and Nonito actually have an official win over Mares, they haven't won jack ****.
