Last month Rigondeaux won a twelve round decision over Donaire.

I definitely would like to see this fight....2 primed unbeaten p4p ranked dudes battling for the lil' man's throne....I favor Rigo but not by as much as I did a few weeks ago...I think Mares can get some work done against Rgo...maybe not enough to win but I think he'll do better than Flash did....Mares seems to be mentally stronger than Flash as well

Abner Mares along with Floyd and Pacquaio before the JMM fight, are 3 guys I don't bet against anymore.

Mares seems to overcome any style put in front of him and doesn't stop surprising me.

Rigo vs Mares would be a great, great fight.

man that would be a little dream come true if that happens...but we all know the chances are very very low...such a shame that such a talented fighter like Rigo only can fight solid to good fighters...

It's comical that people just think Rigondeaux just goes through Mares no problem. Mares is NOTHING like Donaire and is a more complete fighter.

Norton beat Ali so Foreman will kill Ali. Derp.

The more I think of it, the more I like this fight. It's a damn shame it probably won't happen.

It's amazing what a few KOs will do for a fighter's hype.

Interesting matchup! I got Mares taking it but Rigo is good. 60/40 Mares for me right now

phuck the haters. The fact that Mares wants the fight, speaks volume in its self.

Who the hell is Rigo gunning for? Oh right, he is quiet as a church mouse.

Vamos Mares partale su madre ase negro.
