Yes, it does matter how much money was lost. That means everything. Only a fool would not recognize this. Without money, we will never see these fights. Never! But without testing, we will still see fights. That is a huge difference! Money is everything as boxing is a business. And safety is important too, but these tests are voluntary. Not mandatory. Keep in mind, it is the Promoters that are paying for the voluntary testing.

VADA didn't keep silent because they were running more tests. They kept silent because in their contracts they gave the fighter a lot of power over who got to see the results. A fight basically had the ability to say that The Commission cannot see the results, and the Promoters cannot see the results. VADA's Founder has already admitted on record that the reason for the silence about the A sample wasn't really because they were running more tests. VADA also failed to inform the Commission about the test result til the last minute. And the Commission also had a problem with that. VADA kept silent due to inexperience. That was actually OK because they were a brand new organization with a brand new incident on their hands.

I'm actually not blaming VADA for their major mistake because it was bound to happen because of their lack of experience and lack of experience in boxing. They just didn't realize the consequences of keeping silent and notifying people on time.

That's a bunch of BS. The fighter and his lawyer was notified, Peterson and his team should have let GBP know.

3 reasons:

1-Because its a conflict of interest for the state commissions.
If they cancel a card they lose all the tax revenue and tourist dollars that comes with hosting a fight card.

2-States like NYC with high tax penalties fear that if they cancel a card promotors will take their cards to rouge commissions that couldn't care less such as Texas and Mexico. Arum has already threatened this in the past when it came to Manny, Margarito, and Chavez Jr. It's just now that his hypocritical self wants VADA testing because his cash cow got milked dry by the PED Hulk JMM.

3- The commissions' testing is a farce, they conveniently do not test for Synthetic Testosterone nor Human Growth Hormone (HGH) because they're too busy looking for weed and ******* (damn idiots).
