Every era had there ducks and stalls to make fights happen, this is not a new trend.
Another one that just repeats what everyone else says. Don't run with the crowd. That is one of the biggest myths in boxing. Leonard never ducked Pryor. Do a bit of research. It simply didn't happen, despite what HBO said on legendary nights.

Get Koed in 6 rounds? that is a fantasy scenario in your head. Leonard's so called arrogance is not an excuse? He is too small? Wtf?? IF the guy is too big, cool but too small. Get the f^ck atta here.

        That's a myth.

Leonard offered Pryor a career high pay-day of 500k which Pryor refused.

        Damn, Pryor fans are annoying.

          J.j.

Julian The Hawk Jackson was one of the biggest punchers in boxing history in my opinion. I was also a fan but a fight between him and Leonard would have ended by KO. Leonard would have KO'ed Jackson. Last I checked, he wasn't the smartest fighter and he was known to gas out. BIG mistake against a fighter with damn near as much power, way more hand-speed, foot-speed, and boxing IQ.

Go ahead I'll wait while you provide your research, the hawk called him out in many press conferences and Leonard was a ducking diva...... The biggest myth in boxing is was Mike Tyson aura of invincibility (though i like mike). Leonard kept retiring in order to avoid a fight w Hagler. You see this in interviews and from an upset Marvin. I find that hard to believe that the interviews from fighters is inaccurate.

If Floyd fought in the Sugar Ray and Duran era he would be a different fighter more aggressive and not so much of a safety first fighter all those big paychecks has made him a fighter whos content with getting the decission take away some of those zeros and you got the fighter who destroyed Diego correles

I absolutely love the competitive nature of these greats. It's like Jordan saying Lebron could never take him. That competitive fire never goes away.

Another thing is how is the actual interviews w the fighters on "Legendary nights" not legit? In the end this becomes a matter of perspective, so get off your high horse sweetheart.
