Floyd makes adjustments to cater to him...If he can see when you throw a punch, he can react accordingly by either dodging or slipping the punches.

A tall fighter who lets his hands go...reminds me of Paul Williams in his day...I think that Floyd would have his issues with Paul but win a fairly tough fight against him

Cotto landed some slow shots, and he was able to outbox Floyd in some rounds. Ghost is versitile, he can box, and apply great pressure. I felt that Floyd would have to use amazing footwork in order to deal with it, and I felt that would be impossible. Little did I know Floyd would fight how he did against Genero and Diego. And btw, Lara outboxed the crap out of Pwillio

Duran was a very special fighter
and people seem to fail to realise how much bigger that damn ring was in the Sugar rematch - IT WAS AN ARENA!!!

Duran would be the craftiest fight Floyd ever had at 135lbs. I also like ODLH at135lbs to trouble anyone with his height and power.

Yea but SRL lost to Duran at ww. And one thing you mentioned, about the ring size. SRL fought the rematch asap, because he knew Duran would gain wait. And he had to run as a defensive tool. Floyd would have had that boy in the middle of the ring, and used footwork when he needed it, but that would have been seldom.

Tito couldn't beat Floyd at 147 if he had the same issues that he had fighting Hopkins and especially Winky Wright...he had no adjustments in that fight smh

You have good points but how can a recent 135 pounder jumping a weight class to 147 become "HUGE?"...he's not. Nor is he anything special as far as skills go. He is a Victor Ortiz, Danny Garcia level fighter, nothing more nothing less. He is also slow of hand or foot

That's because Cotto is a very good fighter/boxer. People underrate his ability to use the jab. He has lots of success with that against Mosley, Judah, Marg, Pac, and Floyd. It's one of his best weapons next to his body work.

Nothing from Guerrero impressed me compared to other guys Floyd has fought...he was just a notch above Ortiz in my book. Beating Aydin, Katsidis, and Berto is not as good as who Cotto, Mosley, and Marquez went through...

Thats a great question, but in boxing thats just not how it works. Ghost IS HUMONGOUS. Dude looks 6'1, and I dont care about boxrec claiming he's shorter. When Ortiz came up in weight to fight Berto, I thought he would lose because he's "smaller" But thats when I realized that everyone's body does not translate the same at certain weights. Ortiz weighs in at 164lbs at ww. Ghost probably weighs less(or so he says he weighs less) but he actually is bigger than Ortiz. Ortiz is a short stocky brawler build! Ghost has thicker bones, wider back, bigger head. He looks 170 to me.

As far as his skillset, GTFO he is NOT a one trick poney like Ortiz who is a brawler. Nor is he a guy with NOTHING except timing like Danny Garcia. Ghost is a technical boxer/counter puncher. But at ww, he sometimes uses his size to pressure guys. I was one of the ONLY ones who said he would be too big and durable for Berto.

Also Ghost makes GREAT adjustments on the fly. Berto slipped his straight left, so he feinted like he was going to throw it again, then looped it to where Berto's head was going to be when he slipped. I actually dont think ANYONE At ww, can beat Ghost. Their all too small.

No, its because Floyd was overtrained when he fought Cotto. Lets be foreal, Cotto is shot, short, and slow. Its no way in hell he should have been able to land on Floyd. Sometimes Floyd looked dead at the punches, while they landed. The Floyd who fought Cotto, is NOT the Floyd who fought Ghost. These are TWO completely different beast.

And Ghost does NOT have a stellar resume. I have always hated the guy. But he does have what it takes to beat allot of guys. Now that he's at ww, I think he's too big for some of these guys to really hurt him.

But Cotto lost to Margarita who is a slow bum. Ghost is a carbon copy of Margarita, except he's WAAAY better and more versitile. He will box with you, or put pressure on you, however you want it.
