Then you guys should be high on this fight. A fighter Floyd can beat, while not being a bum, and having no other options.

I don't get why you wouldn't be high on this fight?

Don't tell me how much better Floyd is, then say some goofy ***** like, "well, he's too big. I'd rather see him fight Alexander, or wait for one of the 140 lb. guys to move up."

    WTF!?

the only reason to be high on this fight is because of the hype train. Canelo as of right now is nothing more than a B fighter with lots of potential. Little better than ghost, maybe a little worse than cotto when he fought Floyd. Seriously what is the lucas/lamont winner gonna be considered, a B level fighter with huge potential, same as canelo. Only difference is the hype machine

Why not be high on it, is there a bigger fight out there currently speaking.

If you can't be high on the biggest possible fight, then I don't know what you can reasonably be high on.

I agree with you but like I said before, if Canelo was fighting at 147 would this fight have the same hype? I think not. I want this fight to happen so bad because it will be another boring fight in the response of some fans rooting one way. The kid Canelo is good but hes not even on Oscar's level when Floyd fought him years ago. I honestly can't wait for this fight to happen so people can just shut up about it. I really want Floyd and Manny to retire and some of these young guys prosper on.

This truly deserves no response. I'm done responding to delusional fans that always come up with excuses for why an awesome fight shouldn't happen, then go ape **** when a less than spectacular fight happens, and hypes it up to the high heavens. Then have the nerve to say something like, "blah, blah, blah, negotiations. Blah blah blah, best opponent at the time." "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

Half you posters aren't even fans of the sport, and I'm done responding to people like you.

lol, if you wanna talk about not a fan of the sport you should start with your own group, the canelo fans. Saying floyd is nothing without canelo and hope his ppv flops just because they dont like him. How is saying fighter A is too big for fighter B turn into im not a fan of the sport?

It's the most competitive fight to be made with fighters who have open schedules.

Plus Canelo is a better option right now than anybody else I can think of besides Pacquiao or Marquez and those fights ain't happening.
