Lots of optimism by Showtime though. Hearing a lot about 'hope', 'belief', 'likely'... just not a lot of anything definite.

the fight dates are not under contract.but the 6 fights are.and mayweather bunched them up himself into a 30 month time frame.

Would like to see this fight in a year, after Canelo gets a couple of more fights under his belt. Otherwise it's gonna look a lot like Martinez v. Murray where Floyd hits the canvass legitimately for the first time but wins a majority decision.

Excuse? Where? Some idiots want this fight to happen now well please make it happen because Mayweather would box his head off 120-108... If Canelo worked on his stamina and wait for another 2 fights before taking on Mayweather then he has a better chance than now, now if I was Mayweather then I would fight Canelo now.

Espinoza told Iole at yahoo that the goal going into Mayweather Canelo is to break the ppv sales record. SOunds like May 2014 not September 2013 if they really want to do that. But I hope i'm wrong.
