In all honesty, there aren't much options out there at all.
What about Garcia? Winning streak and top fighter at 140 at the moment.

Then floyd will fight winner of alexander/khan which i will have no problem with if both keep winning

It's not 100% because you don't know how negotiations are going to go but I think the chances of it being next are very high.

Mayweather said in an interview yesterday that his next fight should be announced before the end of this month.

Meaning, if it's going to be Matthysse-Peterson winner, which is the only other option, they have between the 19th-end of May to negotiate which is unlikely.

Khan-Alexander is set so it won't be one of those two and I think the winner of that fight is almost certainly going to be the first fight for Mayweather in 2014.

I think if Garcia keeps winning then he will be the second fight of 2014 for Mayweather.

I can honestly see Mayweather blowing Khan out in 1-2 rounds.

assuming the canelo fight happens-what happens next- win or lose its Garcia as long as he is undefeated?

I think the Khan-Alexander winner is a safe bet for his fight after Canelo.

Khan-Garcia and then the winner of the 140lb tourney. Schafer has been setting this up for quite some time it seems. He's trying to navigate the rest of Floyds career wisely and he's aiming to maximize his profits. He's not a dumb man.

Both those fights sound good to me. Floyd vs Lucas and then vs Garcia. Floyd has nothing to prove left, he should go out by letting his hands go. I know it's not realistic, but who wouldn't want to see Floyd in a war?!

Pre-fight - The fight sucks, its going to bomb on PPV.
Post-fight - Numbers are very low, looks like it's going to bomb.

Actual numbers were something like 1 million+ weren't they?
This is exactly the same situation. I was shocked then and I'm even more shocked now. Floyd is clutch.
