without barely making 1m ppv buys, it is left as they are saving face, around 900k-1m ppv

shows he is losing it, without pac and canelo, he will not be doing super numbers, showtime will be losing money as they are doing in this fight
Yeah because Cotto had nothing to do with the 1.5m buys. It was all Canelo. lol

Mayweather will do 1M+ in every fight until he retires.

He went over a million with an opponent that casual fans don't know, suggesting a million buys is as low as he'll get.

EXACTLY! They are not boxing fans, many of them are just a fan of a Boxer and if their boxer is not apart of the event they don't give a **** about boxing

UFC fans may HATE Jon Jones but they don't root against his PPV's and hope that they fail...COME ON BOXING FANS WE HAVE TO DO BETTER!

This reminds me exactly of the Marquez situation.

Pre-fight - The fight sucks, its going to bomb on PPV.
Post-fight - Numbers are very low, looks like it's going to bomb.

Actual numbers were something like 1 million+ weren't they?

              umm, very confusing

fight was expected to do around 1.3m ppv plus, I am sure they said before the fight, sales expected were to be higher than the ortiz fight which did 1.3m

it has done lower than expected

              have you just woke up?

This. It's negative people. The are drawn to fighting sports. All they do is hate and complain and then wonder why they're in a ****hole with no hope.

Root away negative people. Keep them far away from ya. Best advice I ever got.

That'll be about right. I expected this to do about a mil, but it wasnt a great card and the fight itself was damn boring. If he tries to peddle the grunter to the public for his next fight I see it doing worse than this(unless there it has a really tasty undercard...which it most likely wont),and rightly so.
