If Rigondeaux wants to stay at 122 that's his decision and people should respect that.

Smart move by Rigo avoiding a loss. Mares will beat him.

I agree, but given his (perceived) struggle for wider recognition one might suggest a bout with Mares would be appealing. Clearly not (yet anyway).

If Rigo goes up weight, he will be facing heavier and hard punching opponents hence, its advisable for him to have another match with Nonito at 122lbs. Make the venue outside USA, and promote Boxing elsewhere like Macau

I don't think those bouts held in Asia by Arum are intended for the Asian guy to lose.

Nobody can say rigo's anywhere near as good a boxer as Floyd since he's admitting he won't even go up ONE WEIGHT CLASS. Floyd's a champ in divisions with a weight range of 26 pounds, but this fool won't even risk going up 4..?? I rest my case.

I guess Hagler was a bum then and doesn't compare to Floyd since he stayed in one weight class.

Division belt hunting, if it's against a quality opponent. Name a better opponent at 122 than beating Mares at 126.
