No he's mad cause he doesn't want to look like a f'n idiot for promising Showtime the world and bombing on his first PPV event when he swore he could put mayweather in there with "Joe Schmoe" and do over a Million buys Lol.. It's called paranoia. I'm sure he's on the phone right now with Showtime and anyone he can to try and figure out how to put out some bull***** numbers in order to save face.. Just because he wants to return on september it doesn`t mean he needs Mexicans/Hispanics for his fights to do well.Mexicans/Hispanics would just add to his numbers.

He has a point though, Arum hasn't released factual numbers for a pac fight in what...4-5 fights? They've never been confirmed...the only unconfirmed fight for Mayweather in recent memory is Ortiz if I recall. He's pissed because if they do try to make May-Pac not having real numbers to work with messes up the negotiating table when you talk splits....and promoters get some of the split. It's a business and if they release verified numbers for this fight it's basically a spit in Arums face. I think personally 1-1.1 mil but we shall see.

Not everyone enjoyed the fight because it was so onesided...but a lot of people watched it, because they couldn't talk about it other wise. Also if you think the general public heavily streams fights, its mostly the hardcore (sorry can't stop laughing at that) fans who do. It's probably why fighters don't care what people on a message board want because they don't make the fighter anything.

This is just one example, but the bar I watch fights at had very few Hispanics, maybe a handful. For Pac-JMM IV it was packed and 90% Hispanic. Hispanics didn't really come out for Robert, but that's because Robert is really an American of Mexican descent, he's much more Americanized than most Mexican boxing fans living in America, JMO.

It underperformed in the Hispanic market because they know boxing and knew from day one this was not going to be a competitive fight no matter how hard they tried to spin Guerrero as a credible opponent. BTW - Slick Rick is full of ****, as usual. U think we wouldn't have heard by now if it was a very successful event, even if the figures were "unofficial". GTFOH. Wait til Floyd fights Devon. No way that's successful w/o Canelo on the undercard.

Instead of being butthurt and complaining like a woman on the rag, all shaefer has to do is have showtime officially release the #'s showing that it did a mil+. That would shut up all the sceptics all leave them with egg all over their faces!
