His next opponent will probably be Khan.

If I was Canelo I would fight in September without Floyd and headline my own show because Floyd needs him more than Canelo needs him.

Floyd will never be able to sell out a 40K stadium like Canelo.

No one seems to be considering that.

thats a very good question. I think floyds defence is the key to victory but i also think canelos power and youth will trouble floyd. this is a fight i would love to see on sep weekend with family and friends, may the best man win.

Floyd needs to fight this dude while he still has his legs and canelo still alittle green.

Floyd waits to long he will be old and looking like hopkins did vs taylor or dawson, Whitaker vs tito.

            Age catches up with everyone.

easy payday for Cherrypicker, all Cherrypicker has to do is lowball the ginger so the ginger takes a lesser cut

On the face of it Floyd has little reason not to fight Canelo. Yeah he had a little tif when the Ginger seemingly made a demand but really...Compared to his deep seated hatred for Arum? This Tiff is quite minor. When Floyd beat up Ortiz Canelo was not yet considered much better than Ortiz. Canelo has proven to be developing into the next stages of being a great fighter at this point but I think Floyd figures he can tape out Canelo's habits and find ways to hit him.

There is one thing though: If there is a close fight here a decision could screw Floyd because the powers that be will run with the upcoming money maker, rather than the guy obligated to a finite number of fights....They would also figure that in a close decision Floyd would want a rematch. Floyd may be thinking about this because with judges being judges.....This would be a bad way to lose the 0
I mean the Trout decision for example was not without some contraversy given the punch stat numbers and all.
