The network is desperate for Floyd Canelo as soon as possible, to stem the tide. Otherwise the losses are gonna keep growing, especially with all the negative pub carrying over from this fight. And the rumored losses are really massive, a very solid chunk of their budget.
Canelo would benefit from fighting Floyd, but he clearly doesn't need him because he's gotten pretty damn big without fighting any big time money guys. So more like DLH than Floyd or Pac.
