Canelo fights another big name good fighter and wins then next summer he wont need floyd. He can have a big fight against martinez or a 160lber. Hes a big boy so 160 is easy. Not saying i wont mind seeing floyd v canelo

Also all these assumptions are based on some unfounded rumours that Floyd's ppv failed which is not true. You will all be embarassed when the numbers are released next week.
There were 11,000 $10.00 tickets, they were actually the lowest tiered $25.00 initial price tickets which were dropped in price so entire families could come see the fight. That's $110,000.00 off of those tickets alone which leaves 27,000 additional tickets at WELL OVER $10.00 a ticket. Some of those tickets were going for over $275.00 a piece.....where is your source for those numbers you presented?

Canelo is only going to get bigger and more popular. Look at what Marquez said. A close loss to Floyd helps Canelo in the long run, he is just 22. Mexico will still love him and the casual US fan will know who he is. I would prefer the fight later to make it a closer contest but he is Floyd's biggest money option. Showtime is not going to keep sustaining losses or low revenues.

Showtime is throwing him into Canelo's corner.

They needed 1.2mil to break even with the Guerrero PPV, and the latest is that it did well under 1mil, thus going negative.

Floyd probably wanted Alexander for September and Showtime laughed at that notion. It seems they're attempting to push him into fighting someone that's actually considered a threat, similar to the world pushing him to fight Pacquiao. Floyd doesn't like being bossed around unless it's by Haymon or Golden Boy's word.

Of course, Showtime loves hearing this, Floyd being pushed in a corner. He has nowhere else to go but in Canelo's direction. So unfortunate that he has to make things difficult for everyone.

This guy doesn't like Canelo. I wonder who he wants for his hero's next fight.
                They never say anything.

There honestly is no other viable foe for Floyd. I think this fight DOES happen in September.

You know what , I think aggressive PeDerson has a bigger chance for win against Mayweather than Alvarez's

I give Alvarez Zero chance to win against Mayweather , and I am not a fan of either

I see another Castillo in Peterson ! he has the biggest chance for win among all 140s

Khan got robbed. He rocked Peterson several times to the point of getting dropped. And Khan's chin is made of glass.
