cain velasquez is a world class wrestler. he was top five in the country at HW in college for two years.

he'll beat fury within a round in an mma match.

low single (that's a takedown of one leg, for those who have not wrestled,) control him while he's on his back, move to one side or the other, and literally pick a way to finish the fight.

velasquez by choke or submission in a round. the smart bet would be on velazquez via stoppage in one round.

now, if they box, fury will pick him apart and knock him out.
You've quite clearly not factored in Tyson's natural strength and high pain threshold.

Fury is the bigger and stronger man, FACT.
He has the better chin, FACT.
    He has more power, FACT.
He has the better punching technique, FACT.

You're saying all this as if he can't learn some basic wrestling technique in a 2 month time frame. Then when you add in all the above, it is El Ambulano time for Cain.

You can be 'world class' and a world champion in his backwards 'sport' in a mere 4 fights.

A roided up redneck from the damn WWE went in and became a world champion beating the likes of Heath Herring & a 90yr old Couture lollll

Fury's a bum. Cain would wreck him in MMA. This whole myth of "durr durr durr because this person is a boxer, all he needs to do is land a lab" is ridiculous.

Cain wouldn't just take him down and smash him, he'd probably be able to chop his legs down on the feet. Fury would get CRUSHED if he ever tried stepping into MMA. Also, since we're on the subject of Fury, if and when he fights a Klitschko, he's going to get DESTROYED!!!

You do understand that Lesnar was a highly decorated amateuer wrestler right?? THAT'S why he was successful, not because he was some dude from the WWE.

Saying that Tyson Fury only needs to learn some "basic wrestling moves" to beat Cain is like saying that Adrian Peterson only needs to learn how to skate on ice to be a top level Hockey player... Tyson can wrestle all he wants, Cain would still pick him up and dunk him on his head.

Velasquez would throw him on his ass and be his daddy.

You've obviously never wrestled in your life. It'd look like Randy Couture vs Tim Sylvia except Cain's relentless, explosive and a finisher.

Wrestlers, BJJ practitioners, guys with zero background in anything can do well in MMA but an at least bordering world class boxer can't? right.

Junior Dos Santos tore through the whole UFC roster with practically nothing but very basic boxing, being able to gauge distance. Most of these guys knew they'd get wrecked standing but they couldn't shoot because he controlled the distance with his jab & footwork.

The reality is if Fury learned how to sprawl he'd wreck any MMA chump and whats to say a boxer can't land? Or he doesn't time a kick/knee?

The reason these guys get taken down is because of their stance. Say what you like but you'll never see me getting double legged by a guy who shoots from a mile away.

Do you know how many wrestlers including a NCAA division champion I've seen unable to take a complete novice down let alone keep them there? I seen a novice under/over Jeff Monson & have him on his back ffs
Its because they don't know submission defense, they don't have to pace themselves etc etc

The reality is any clown can do MMA and they like to convince themselves its just like Street fighting and it makes 'em 'ard. Two bit, undisciplined bully boys only fit for picking on the weak for most part.

Did you not see a fat, 40yr old Mayorga who has virtually zero MMA training at the weekend who didn't even train for the fight? He more than held his own even on the ground he wasn't out of his depth but it wouldn't matter who he beat MMgAy fanboys would only say the MMA fighter was a bum anyway.
